Hell’s Jubilee

Darkness lurks around each corner
Criminals carve their way through fright
Erasing illumination
Killing light
Murderers roam freely
Feeding on their prey
The voices here sound steely
Metallic like a blade
Screams resonate throughout the night
And chills run up and down my scalp
The newest prisoner
Of Hell-wide Jubilee
Cold dead fingers lead the way
Into frigid chambers
Once elated, filled with glee
Now lay empty, sullen, broken
Broken, just like me
Hell bent on destroying
Slashing
Tearing
And leaving remnants hollow
