Shinobi

Squinted eyes travel upon the mountain range,
Well-covered feet tread the foot of snow,
She takes another sip of her small pint of ale
Before sharpening her katana that bears the sun's shine.

The potency of her soul is unmatched by many-
Therefore, she is not one to mind the blizzard's treachery,
She rebuilds her vitality using calm meditation,
With her biggest weakness being the strange unknown...

An ancestry forgotten, a childhood lost,
One shinobi remains in search of this past,
Without a soul within acres of her presence,
The sword she bears is the lone thing she trusts...

Her mouth remaining masked, she whispers her hymn,
Hearing the gongs and bells that ring in the distance,
The wind grows stronger on the dreads of her cloak-
Suspicions are roaming free on this day of death.

Thoughts encircle the head of the lone wolf,
Who is guided by fate through an endless trail,
She worships the spirits of an obscure religion,
Hoping that one day she may find the glorious truth.

The snowflakes rush through the air in mystery...
As the day grows old and the journey turns bleak,
She searches for shelter to perform meditation,
But an unsettling instinct has arisen through psyche---

swoosh-

swoosh-

slash--
JIEISHUDAN!

The scream rings the halls of the lost sanctuary
As the shinobi's katana is pressed to the samurai;
He stands as positioned, breathing in submission
Hearing the lonesome girl holler another cry-

DOCHIRASAMA!...

Sweat rolls down the soft cheek of the shinobi,
A signal of fright is apparent through her eyes...
The samurai grasps the katana with a soft right hand,
And whispers to the girl in a light encryption...

"Find your home through the heart you wield."
