Is it a place you go
At the end of your life?
Is it hope?
Hope to put an end to strife?
Hope to better the world?
Maybe it's true
Maybe it's absurd
Is it Heaven?
Is it Hell?
Maybe it's lie
Maybe it's the bottom of a bottomless well
Perhaps the beginning of something more?
Makes me wonder
What are we looking for?
The answer's not in the Bible
Or in any Ancient Lore
Whatever it is I'm out to find it
And one day I'll return with what
I once set out to find
All the troubles will be out of my mind
And my goal will be achieved
Luck will be deceived
When I find the place called home
And I may not know
what lies at the end of the rainbow
But I know this:
Finding that place
Guarantees eternal bliss
