Lies chase through your mind
Playing catch with reason and sense
Your ears hear blasphemies
Echoes in your dreams
Worry etches your features
Remembering blank screams
The vision of silent lips whispering eternity
Death following you home
Before you can utter a sound, engulfs you
And you stop.
