Angry blue eyes look out at the world

With a fearsome gaze, clear and cold

Disconnected from life, glassy and hard

But behind it is hidden a person, scarred

Emotional issues, not yet resolved

Eyes hide pain that's connected with being old

Yet this body is young so why the pain

The blue eyes will never release that rain

Weakness is hidden within this stare

No one will see the emotions behind the glare

No one will get the upper hand

Can't risk hoping someone will understand

Don't want to run the risk of being let down

So keep everything hidden behind that frown

Never letting anyone in

Everything's hidden in the bin

A bin that is really the mind

A mind that is one of a kind

Tortured and Hurt

Dragged through the dirt

And if anyone cared to look

They'd read feelings like they'd read book
