Savaria and Shadow both walked to her locker after lunch. She was
quite hungry for some REAL vampire food. blood. Neither of them noticed
Vector following them.
She opened her locker and grabbed a water bottle filled with, "fruit
punch", or in other words, pig blood. She told everyone that it was juice,
when in fact it was just spare blood from home.
Vector crouched behind a garbage can, with a pair of binoculars that
looked like they were from a sci-fi movie. "Come on, move!" he hissed at
Savaria, who was blocking his view of inside her locker. "What does that
freak keep in there?" He asked himself.
"What are you doing now?" A female voice asked from behind him. He
turned around and found himself face to face with his girlfriend, Sylva
Prentice, a questioning look on her face.
He quickly stood up and hid the binoculars behind his back, "Umm.
nothing Sylvia honey." He lied. Sylvia didn't really approve of what he did
for a 'living'; she hated it when he spied on others like he was doing.
"Bull shit!" She said, "You were spying on Savaria weren't you?"
"Uh. Maybe."
"Why do you continue to do this Vector?" Sylvia asked, "Even after I
patiently ask you not to, continues times?"
"I don't know." Vector said, "It's what my father did for a living,
and his father too. And my father's father's father, and my father's
father's fathe-"
"O.K. I GET IT!" Sylvia shouted at him. "I don't care if it is the
family job, you have no right to follow others around and spy on their
personal lives."
"But Sylvia, I just know that you're friend Savaria is a blood-
sucking vampire. I'm worried for you're safety." Vector said, lying a bit,
he wasn't very concerned about her as he was about his own reputation. If
he exposed an actually Vampire that everybody actually cared about, maybe
they would believe him for once.
"Well I don't care if she's Freddy Kruger's daughter, you leave her
and everyone else alone got it!" Sylvia scolded.
Vector gave a defeated sigh and replied, "Yes Sylvia, I promise to
leave her and everyone else alone."
She smiled, pulled him closer, and kissed him. She ignored the shriek
of, "PDA!" from a passerby student, and said, "I'll see you later sweetie."
And turned and headed to her next class. She was worried though, somehow,
Vector knew that her best friend was a vampire, and if he ever found out
that he was right. She doubted he had the brains to do much, but he could
probably put her into great danger.
As soon as Sylvia was gone, Vector turned around and walked over
towards Savaria's locker. He knelt down and noticed a bit of dirt on the
floor in front of her locker. He scooped it up into a plastic bag and
headed to his next class; Chemestry.
Sylvia didn't know that he had his fingers crossed behind his back
when he made his promise.
