Author's Note
And so concludes my first complete story here on FP. I am very excited about this!! No - I’m hyper, I’m ecstatic, I’m relieved, and I’m really, really proud! Sure, sure - it did take almost nine months, but I did it! I just hope that all of my hard work has proved successful. In any case, I am done, and I hope everyone is happy with the way things turned out. I know that I could have been really mean and made you all mad at me by having Sky fall in love with someone else (and believe me...it did cross my mind), but since I wanted them together just as much as you, I decided against it.
Looking back, I'd have to say I'm pretty proud with the way things turned out. Sure, there are things that I'd change if I decided to go back and update, which for all I know, I may just do. For example, I might add more in about Lizzie's relationships at home. I touched on them, but decided to get right to the point of the love match rather than focus on them a lot. Also, I'd bring Ty and Louise into the story more. You need to get to know the characters around a character to truly know that character. Make sense? Ah – whatever.
Oh well. Maybe one of these days, I'll feel up to revising. At the moment though, I think I'll stick to what I have because I'm awfully darn proud of it. :)
Finally, I'd like to sincerely thank all my loyal reviewers. An especially huge thanks out to those who reviewed any, if not all, of my chapters.

You kept me going and I'm not sure I would have continued if it were not for you. Sure, I got some reviews from all different people feeling all different things (ahem, OzChild and Someone With Morals), but that’s life. There were those who didn't like it and those who said to publish it, but all the same, thanks for your input. Thanks for all of your support!

SNEAK PREVIEW!!
Yay! Exciting. If y'all have been paying attention to the posts on my homepage, you'd know that I've been working on this for quite awhile. It is a new fic entitled Patience is a Virtue. Since I was concentrating on finishing Lizzie's Summer as well as writing Our Freshman Year, I decided I wouldn't post anything new until I was done. Now I am done and here is a preview of my efforts...
----------
“Get your lazy butt down here, right now, young man!” My mother yelled up the stairs to my brother Bryan. He was in big trouble. Five minutes ago, my mother had been on her way out the door to a dinner appointment, but now, after a phone call from the high school school, she wasn’t going anywhere. “Bryan Grant Enloe,” she called again. “Don’t make me come up there and get you.”
“What?” he whined, stumbling down the stairs. For an eighteen-year-old, he could be really immature at times. “TRL is coming on.” Mom grabbed him by the ear and pulled him into the dining room.
“Well, say goodbye to TRL,” she said. “Because you aren’t going to be watching it for a very long time.” Suddenly, something caught my mother’s eye. Oops! It was me. “Goodbye,” she said, pointing to the door. Darn, I had been hoping to hear her chew Bryan out.
Taking the stairs two at a time, I reached the top and headed towards my room in the attic. I had moved up there last year, much to my sister Claire’s displeasure. She had always wanted that room so badly, but I had won the arm wrestling match.
“Ross,” I heard someone call from downstairs. Reaching my room, I stepped inside and shut the purple door behind me. Mom hadn’t liked it when I painted it purple.
“It’s too loud,” she had said.
“No it’s not! It’s an expression of my personality,” I had told her. Mom is always trying to get us to express ourselves. Of course, though, the one time I try, she hates it. Luckily, Dad liked it and I ended up keeping the purple door. Recently, against my Mother’s wishes, I added silver sparkles. They’ve begun to fall off, though, and every Saturday, Mom makes me sweep the floor by the door.
“Knock, knock,” Brooks called, through the door. Man, couldn’t I get piece and quiet for just one minute?
“It’s open.”
“Have you seen Ross?” He asked. “We’re playing hide-and-seek and I can’t find him.”
“Have you tried the laundry shoot?”
“Oh, I forgot about that,” he said, running back down the stairs, leaving my door wide open. Getting off my bed, I closed the door behind him. It hadn’t been closed three seconds, though, before Chelsea waltzed in, without knocking.
“Molly got a haircut,” she informed me, holding up the American Doll she got this past Christmas. Sure enough, Molly’s braids had been replaced with a much shorter ‘do.
“It’s beautiful,” I lied, hoping she’ll leave soon, so I can make a phone call.
“I tried to show Mommy, but she’s yelling at Bryan,” Chelsea explained.
“Why don’t you go show Claire, then?” I suggest, knowing perfectly well that Claire hates it when she’s bothered during her ‘study’ time.
“Okay,” Chelsea smiled and skipped out of my room. Of course, she leaves the door open behind her. Once again, I climb off my bed and shut it. Why, oh why, did I have to be an Enloe? Life is too crazy for me here. Oh, you don’t know what I’m talking about. I should probably start at the beginning, shouldn’t I? Lets see…where do I begin?

I hope you all found that little tad bit interesting enough to come back and read it. I should be posting the prologue soon.
Thanks again for reading Lizzie's Summer!
'Till Next Time!
