First they reasoned with me
And when that didn't work
They called me a stubborn fool.

Then they tried to threaten me
And, bravely, I laughed at their threats then
They said that I was so confused.

Then they tried to torture me
And I battle gamely through all the pain then
They said that I didn't know how to feel.

Next they tried to bargain with me
But I turned down all their bribes and after that
They said that I wasn't one of them anymore.

So then they tried to trap me
But I battered my wings against the cages and flew free then
They said that I underminded society.

But then they threatened him
And he's my only weakness so I held my tounge and then
They said that I was cured.
