Wrap me in your arms, and you can unwrap the precious gem hidden deep
inside of me.
Sought by many, it belongs to one.
It slips through the fingers of the rough, calloused grasps that seek to
gain through stealth and coaxing,
but in your hand, its true beauty is unveiled, and it glitters as the
tenderness and warmth of your touch kindles the fire love only can light.
I run my tongue across your sugared lips.
OH God how I long to drown in your scents.
You wrap yourself in the silken folds of my long hair, enveloped in a cloud
of ebony perfume.
Oh my Darling, how I want to give you the gift, yet you fear you are taking
what is not yours to have.
Your brown eyes tell me what your lips fear to speak.
"If you give this to me, it is no longer yours. This gem you hold out so
eagerly for the taking shall be mine, and I am then bound to wear it for
all time."
but your voice trembles when you at last speak these words, and your
heart's voice drowns the logic on your lips.
You kiss me softly, and my walls crumble.
I open myself to you.
I cry out, sobbing half in joy, half in fear and pain as you gently take my
loving offering.
Inside of me, deep, deep inside of me you move, never forcing, but gently
advancing as I beckon you further.
You pres me against your hard, tightly muscled body, and I feel your heart
beating in time with mine, signifying that our bodies are now one with each
other.
I strain you closer, crying into your chest and letting the tears glisten
on your skin.
God, how I want you to stay, but I knew the moment I let you in, that you
would have to leave again.
and Now it is over.
You lay beside me, our bodies blanketed in moonlight.
You hold me close and kiss my hair as I cry into your shoulder.
"The gift is yours, my darling. Wear it in some deep, private chamber of
your heart forever more, and think of me."
You gaze down at me, your tender eyes swimming in an ocean of pain.
You turn your face away, and I realize why you cry.
Your gift is forever imprinted upon my soul, just as mine is upon yours.
WE lay there, side by side.
Two shells whose souls have fled their shelters.
Two toy dolls with vacant eyes and painted smiles.
A man and a woman who, blinded by passion, so foolishly gave the gift of
love they could share never more.
