A Renewing Pain

Vanished for eternity.
Locked away from time.
Tears are falling down your face.
And slit wrists are tied.
Unwanted in the present.
You're an outcast to the past.
The future can't control you.
And your life is on the end.
You're hanging on a piece of thread.
One more step and you will fall.
One more heartache and you will crack.
And one more piece of failure,
Before you lose it all.
They've pushed you into loneliness.
In the pit of your despair.
Where memories don't ever fade.
And voices do not stop.
Where cries become a monster.
And your dreams begin to shout.
You want to break free from this, deceitful pain.
If only they loved you, and not wanted more.
If only they could care just as much as you did.
Then maybe. you'd be standing now.
