"Your God"
by Damascus Ochre
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feel the love
Feel the hate
Feel the animosity dissipate
Hold the feelings
Keep them in
Don't let go
'Cuz it's a sin
To love, to hate
The god you worship
Blinded by fear and
Losing your faith
Your god's not real
Your thoughts aren't true
Caught up in your cult
You don't know what to do
Don't worship a god
That's just sticks and stones
It's the ones with words
That'll mend your bones
Whisper sweet nothings
Into deaf ears
Show your beauty
Through eyes filled with tears
Passions rising
Anger building
Pain despising
Faith is living
Save you from what
You fear the most
Don't be afraid
Of his harmless ghost
He just can't hurt you
Not anymore
Forget your god
Forever more
You're too good for that, love...

Okay, before anyone kills me for being anti-Christ or anti-God or anti-
anything else, let me explain this! X.x;;
Well, technically it's kinda BDSM-ish, with the whole master-slave kind of
theme, "you" being "your god's" slave. Okay? So it's not being
discriminatory toward religions...Just wanted to make that perfectly clear.
x.x'
Anyway, it's like a new master/seme comes along and wants to take "you"--
the slave--away from his/her former master, saying that "It's the ones with
words//That'll mend your bones," that kindness is better than an abusive
relationship. The beginning paragraph is about not forgetting the way the
sadistic master/"god" makes "you" feel, giving you more reason to leave
him/her for something better.
Well, now I'm happy that at least that is clear. ^-^ Now go do something
useful with your lives, not sitting her reading my half-sane drivel.
