Cramped
By: Mya Avalon-Malfoy
May 17,04

Bundled up and broken,
Not where I'm supposed to be.
Almost over, so close to gone,
I would not look, even if I could see.
So fast and long ago now.
But I remember to smile
Even if I'm reminded to cry, forget
That memory I'd lost for a while.
Never liked running, no, not this fast
So this race through life is terrifying,
Wanting it to last; can't catch up!
But I'm lagging still, stalling for time.

AN: I wrote this when I had been at home instead of at school, late night
and a "cold", but I like to think I just wasn't in a good mood.
