I never prayed to a god,
I felt my life being driven,
By something without an iron rod
As my life was ripped apart,
And the strange phantoms,
Enraptured my heart,
I looked through the gate,
And found the force driving me,
Turns out it was Fate,
It took my hand, and led me away,
The burden was not lifted,
But Fate still pushed me the right way,
And it turned out to be,
I had to fight,
To become me,
All of the obstacles,
That bore my name,
Became the dreams of fools,
Suddenly I became tense,
And the medicine in me,
Came to my mind's defense,
Death seemed all to real then,
The cuts on my body,
Bled and screamed when,
Torturing my soul,
The fire ablaze,
Formed a circle,
Then once it was quenched,
A river of blood,
Ran through me like a trench,
My back began to blister,
The hands of fate,
Were suddenly bound in a twister,
A punishment sent from hell,
Left my back scarred,
And gave me stories to tell,
An inverted sword,
By the name of Homo,
Tore through the cord,
That bounded Fate,
Then turned into a key,
And opened the Gate,
Of my mind, and then,
All obstructions that held me,
I left them behind,
A violent tear slid down my face,
And it was then,
That I knew my place,
As all my thoughts became clear,
Fate stayed with me,
And brought me here,
For eight years he was my only friend,
Then he brought me to a place,
May 30th I had to commend,
A memory that raised my heart,
Showed me a life,
And gave me a new start,
The entire night was amazing,
The people I met,
And I started dazing,
Someone challenged me,
With a prejudice,
Of race you see,
Fate had dealt its cards to us,
And when I saw them,
I knew I'd win this fuss,
I had only known my people for two hours,
But to my surprise, the other side's demise,
Eras of friendship banded them to me that hour,
The two sides collided in furious debate,
Security between us,
And the people who contended with fate,
And when the calm of the storm came,
My friends had defended me,
And put the other side to shame,
There are so many more stories I could tell,
About the way fate took me,
About my own path through hell,
But alas, my tail ends here,
A sequel shall be made,
When I find strength to persevere.
