Turn your heart pure again; full of innocent cares and hopes, only to watch them be dashed to the ground by the ones you loved dearly.

Your first kiss, your first dream, your first moment of realization that the world was crumbling down into nothingness and the only answer could be found inside another. So you would search, seek that answer to the unspoken question, what is life? What else could there be in this world to live for?

The loss of yourself.

When the world turned black, you could only dig deeper into that other soul, toss and turn in your bed, caught in haunting dreams and delicious kisses that would wake you up, only to find yourself alone and in the dark. Your dreams were no longer your own, your thoughts were no longer what they had been. You'd been changed without ever realizing it.

It had been simple in the beginning, frequent blushings and kisses stolen behind the corner leading to your next class. You'd lose yourself in the eyes of another, if only for a moment, and time would simply stop, just for the two of you.

It would end worse.

That steady decline as you were uprooted from your high throne. Jealous, anger, bitterness only increasing through false accusations and blindness. You loved, but to be in love was an emotion too severe to handle, to harsh upon your thoughts.
