This is Just to Say

This is just to say;
I feel really sorry for the way I've treated you all this time.
We've been together, Homey,
And I feel horrible knowing
About you rough past.
Yet, I still treat you like dirt.
I should listen to Candy,
And tell you how I truly feel.
I want to, so bad.
Yet, I am afraid,
Not knowing how you will react.
I care about you so much,
Yet I clamp my hand around your throat,
Rather then over your hands.
I care so much,
I want you to know.
But, these words that I have written,
Speak the deepest desires of my heart,
Of which you should never hear me speak.
(at least not yet.)
So this letter may never be given to you.
I'll keep my love within.
I may abuse you so,
But I want you to know,
I really do love you
