I see a burning house of green, bodies of red too
I see the bomb drop for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
I see skies of gray, clouds of ebony
The forsaken day, and a famine siege
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
The colors of the flag, so audacious in the sky
And the diseased faces of the people walking by
I see commoners exchanging words, saying "How do you do?"
They're really saying, "I hate you."
I hear babies crying, their mothers dead
More warmongers shot them in the head
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world
