I really, truly love her,
But I don't think that she knows it.
Maybe she thinks I lie,
Scattering seeds of dissent.

It's hard to say I love you
And show that I mean it,
Hidden behind a large glass screen,
But my words come straight from my heart.

I'm scared because I love her so much,
I don't want her to hate me really,
I trust her but recently everyone's turning on me,
I just want to be there to say 'I love you'.

Words can mean little,
Can be made of everything false,
But I want her to know that I love her,
And I want her to know that I really care.

Sometimes it's a little hard
For me to say these things,
But I do, and I mean it,
And I hope you mean it too,
Because I'm in love with you.
