Another Creative Writing Assignment - to use the structure of an already
existing poem to make one of your own. Loosely based on a poem of Robert
Frost's. See if you can guess what it is!

Watcher

The stars are bright, thee moon is clear
The Herald of the Night is here
To cast his gaze o'er land and sea
The silent watcher without fear.

The choice is mine, to stand and flee
To face His question, let them see
The myriad truths within my eyes
The shattered mirror, the whispered plea.

Beyond deception, past all lies
A fire burns, and shall arise
To light my soul, and show the way
A challenge ringing through the skies.

We drift between the Night and Day
The gauntlet thrown. And who shall stay?
What consequence the Game we play?
What consequence the Game we play?
