She danced around her life
Scared of getting hurt
Graceful, quiet, terrified
Her wings will just get burnt
Her heart has many scares
The blades of love is sharp
Her frail little wings
Wearing dance shoes for life
Her hopes and dreams
Inside of them
The last ounce of hope and love
With colors faded pale
The magic is all gone
But she will dance her dance
Until the music is done
