Fallen Angel

Through the fog and mist and rain
A girl walks down the street.
Dreaming of a faraway place she knows she’ll never meet.

As she walks everyone stares
Because she dosen't fit in the scene.
But she doesn’t mind, she walks right by
Just thinking.

Loneliness envelops her, like a disturbing plight
But to her it is a set of wings and a halo filled with light.

She seems to be there
Then she’s nowhere to be seen
A ghostly walker who is all alone
And has no place left to lean.

She is the last piece of the puzzle
But doesn’t seem to fit
Because she knows she’s a girl
Who will never stop
And quit.

She turns to me and smiles
Then just disappears.
Cause she’s a fallen angel
Learning to accept her fears.
