Since the day I was born,

My trusted guard, my warrior true.

You’ve walked with me,

And all I’ve said.
You’ve upheld the dreams
For which I’ve bled.
We’ll be together to the bitter end.
That I promise, my warrior friend.

You run with me,

You stay with me,

But we can run no longer.
Enemies have found us.
You step in to shield me.
A war cry sounds.
The battle sings its frightening song.
Draw your sword, my warrior strong.

You fight with them,
No matter what.
You cut them down,

You stand determined,
Protecting me.
But on your chest, A wound I see.
Despite your pain, you stand your ground.
Keep fighting on, my warrior sound.

You show no mercy,

You hold your stance,

Your wound pains you,
I can see.
But though you hurt,
You still protect me.
But alas, you cannot stop your fall.

The enemy hesitates,

It is now my time to take a turn
