Sharp pointy prickers expand,
Out of the stalks of a rose's grand,
Position among the bushes,
Of a garden that flourishes,
Such dangerous things that grow,
From something with a beautiful glow,
The red of the rose,
Contrasts with the green from which it grows,
A comparison that could be drawn,
Is that of the good that evil will spawn,
Out of crime a system is built,
To defeat it with a hand on a hilt,
The hilt of a sword is the thorn of a rose,
The rose symbolizing the good of those,
That are picked by nature's hand,
To defend the beauty destroyed by men.
