Just a Speck

Into my life you came.

Changing it, ne’er the same.

Before your acquaintance,

My life needed maintenance.

Things, no matter how small,

Got me down, made me bawl.

Dropping my blue rattle,

Aspanking with a paddle.

Before you, life was bleak

My spirit hurt, my pants reeked.

But, oh, I let you go,

My life reached a new low.

I watched you leave good friend,

With pain no one could mend.

A kiss, a pat, a hug

Time passing like a slug

One final wave goodbye

One final heavy sigh

I’ll ne’er forget that noon,

I said goodbye to you

So long, farewell, won’t see you soon,

It’s been fun, my helium balloon.
