Mind wakes but eyes won't open
Clinging to dreams as stars to heav'n
Dreams of a day when you were here
Lying next to where I now sleep
Same room
Same bed
Same heart beats only you

But your not here.

So I force my eyes to open
And rise with the sun
Ghosts of memories for comfort
Till you hold me close again
