when the moon can shine without a thin,
green lining of jealousy, and the stars
aren't afraid to shine like the sun

and the dewdrops- shimmering, pearlescent tears
shed from heaven and her eye like the sun
shed because she looks so beautiful when she cries

when I stand out in the rain, waiting
for an answer to what I am waiting for
-I was actually never quite sure

raindrops, they sting my frozen face
mix with the tears trickling down a smiling cheek
dare you take me to be weak?

when the road always finds a destination in the end
the desination never really changing
whether under a jealous moon or tearful sun

I can't stand here forever, waiting
the threshold is waiting for my own arrival
must dry the tears, look up to my challenge-

now I begin
