There was once a great white pelican

Sitting in the sea

With pineapples floating around him.

They floated around like loose bobbers you see

But he did not eat them oh no

For he did not care for them you see.

But he did care for the fishes

Who came to feast upon the pineapples

Floating in the sea.

And so the pelican did feast upon the fishes you see

Who came too feast upon the pineapples you see

And he gulped them down by ones, twos, and threes.
