A large ugly crack,

Making its way across the shine,

The picture broken in two,

Like my body,

Like who I am,

I stare into the shiny surface,

Looking at a face staring back at me,

My face but only cracked,

Like my body,

When I wake up from a sleep,

Place on my dressing gown,

Head downstairs to weep,

To look in the shiny surface,

And look at the mirrored image,

Sadness, crying all is lost.

The mirror never lies.
