We were supposed to be reading the book Salt, but I wasn't interested at all. So I pulled out my favorite book of all time: May My Knight Return. I absolutely love that book. I always seem to get lost in it...

Before I knew it, the bell had rung and History was over. Now off to lunch, my favorite subject! Of course I brought my book with me because I've always been able to multi-task, especially when it came to food.

Sitting at a table of seven guys isn't always the easiest thing to do. I was taking a break and eating some french fries and staring absent mindedly out the window wall across the cafeteria, when all of a sudden Grantly looked over at me and asked, "Hoping that Prince Charming will come and sweep you away from here?"

One of the other guys spoke up. "Isn't she always? Anything to get out of algebra , right Alex?"

"You know it Morgan!" I replied. I've always hated math and I've never done well in it. I always dreaded having to go. Oh well. Darned bell! Why does lunch have to go by so fast?

The Next Morning

I was too preoccupied with what Grantly said to go to sleep. I've always wanted a boyfriend and my first kiss, so I guess what he said really got to me. I have wanted my Prince Charming to come and rescue me, but he hasn't come yet. I'm forever waiting for a pair of strong arms to wrap me up in a big, warm hug.

All of a sudden I glanced to see what was on tv. It was this weird kiddie show called "Booba" or something. It was kind of amusing to watch fat little fuzzy creatures dance around. And watch Lady paint the never ending fence out in the middle of a field. As the little creatures started to dance, I got up and started dancing with them. Then all of a sudden I got an IM. It was from Jake.

PrnzChrmng: Hows it goin Alex?

PiccyBabe: its great! How are you and Mary doing?

PrnzChrmng: good really good. We went out to Schlitterbahn yesterday and she had a lot of fun.

PiccyBabe: sounds really fun!

PrnzChrmng: oh it was

PrnzChrmng: Alex Mary is on now and i really need to talk to her w/o any distractions. SrryPiccyBabe: fine

PiccyBabe: i gotta go anywayz

PrnzChrmng: ok then. Bye

PiccyBabe: bye

I love being around Jake. He was one of those guys that just give you a great vibe, ya know? But he was taken, and I don't want to do anything to hurt them. If only he could see me in the way i see him...
