Today marks the closing of the book on this blur of memories.

We stand in front of this door to the past,

Dressed in a gown of achievement,

With unlimited possibilities ahead.

The tears fall freely,

As we watch our childhood pass away and know:

The best is yet to come.

Three years are up in a flash,

And all we can leave here are the memories we have made.

Nights of parties, and winning scores;

First dates, and broken hearts.

A life that is now over,

But memories that never will end.

We hug tightly, and snap off everlasting photos,

Cry tears of joy, and make promises to keep in touch.

We've grown up together every step of the way,

And holding each other tightly as we did.

And now today,

We walk across this stage.

A piece of paper congratulates us on coming this far,

And the accomplishment we have made.

The future is standing in front of us,

Draped in a sunset.
