The Outerworld

The night was dark; the moon was bright,
The bats and boogs screeched out with fright.

The children all were in their beds,
The Boogiemen rested their heads,

The owls flew out into the dark,
All the dogs began to bark.

The Outerworld some yelled and screamed
The awful things we began to dream.

Witches, Demons, Wizards, Ghouls,
Vampires, snakes and Wifferlouls.

Swirling, twirling just like smoke,
And when you say, "I cannot cope"

They go away

There's nothing there

But, I warn you still beware,

The Outerworld is closed for now,
But on a day not good but fowl,
They'll come back to scream and howl.
