I found a piece of myself...
I was lying in a junkyard…
To complete myself…
I need to engineer…

I fix myself…with a wrench and hammer
Nails and a saw…and finally, a wood-sander
I want to be whole…even if it’ll hurt me
Blessed is the piece…hidden so long from me…

My piece won’t stay…
And I smear some glue…
Fast-acting and chemical-rich…
Living, breathing, robot-fool…

I fix myself…with mechanical machines
Into my operations…more grotesque than ever seen
I want to be one…be all and one and whole
And I dry in a locker…so tender, and so sore…
