Boundless Love

Kagome and Eikoe

The rain pouring around her was heavy, dark clouds little the sky, and with every step along the dark cobbled street, her feet met with a puddle. She decided there and then that this was a bad idea, her cloak was soaked in water, and it was seeping through the fabric at a steady rate, and she could feel it drop down her cheeks. Sighing, she looked down at the floor, pulling out a sodden piece of paper from her pocket, the ink had run badly, leaving it a smudge of blue. A soft growl escaped her, and she looked up, around her, blinking as a few raindrops fell in her face.

“All I can remember is him saying that it was an old castle.” A heavy sigh escaped her once more, and she cursed herself for not listening to Orion’s words, she had been all to excited about doing something important for him.

Luckily for her however, there lay a huge castle, not too far ahead, the shops ended here, and just over the bridge were the huge front doors, that would be where the artefact would be!

She ran off ahead, water splashing up her already soaked through trousers as she flew across the street, stamping in many puddles along the way. The rain suddenly worsened, and she heard a clash of thunder not far behind her. Running up to the huge castle doors she fell heavily against them, knocking hard on the wood for a few seconds before yelling a “Hello?”

Inside the castle doors, a young looking man stood in the huge kitchen singing away to himself as he prepared something to eat, he currently wore only a pair of baggy shorts, unaware of the rain outside, the only reason for his stopping was the faint yell of someone outside the door. Frowning, he rubbed his hands on a cloth, slowly making his way to the door, before carefully opening it. His eyes widened as he first realised it was raining, then looking to the girl, inviting her to step in right away, as she pushed back the hood of her coat, his eyes reeled. Dark brown hair fell down to her neck, resting above her shoulders, and the rain from her head steadily dripped down her cheeks, he grasped a look at her eyes, grinning at her presence, a young, gorgeous girl, soaked to the bone stood before him, he was immediately attracted.

Her reaction was just about as taken with the person n the other side of the huge doors, raising an eyebrow as she looked to his chest, a soft grin spreading across her lips as she took in his appearance, it was his stance that intrigued her the most, trying to suppress a giggle, she held out a drenched hand to introduce herself.

“Hey, I’m Eikoe.”

The two of them shared some laughter, before he took her hand, leaning down to kiss the top of it gently, and thankfully for Eikoe, the redness in her cheeks hid the blush.

“Kagome”

Leaning up again, he stepped around her to close the door. Placing his hands on her shoulders gently ushering her into the kitchen he took a hold of her coat and gently pulled it from her shoulders, throwing it over one of the kitchen sides, nearest the sink, before taking another good look at her, she was pulling off her jumped, muttering as he shirt came off too. Blinking up at him, as she stood there in only her bra and trousers, she flushed an obvious red.

“Stripping!? We’ve only just met!”

Kagome’s eyes had lit up at the scene before him. Her body was all clammy from the rain, everything was clinging. Best thing was that she had the perfect body, not too big, not big at all, and yet not too thin, she was the perfect size. Slumping onto his right leg he shook his head slowly at her, wondering if she was all looks and no personality, but the un-folding events would prove that she was something special. He was soon to be delighted.

“ Well, you know, only way to get by in life.”

A giggle escaped her, and she pushed her wet clothes into his chest, rubbing at her stomach and frowning at how sticky her skin was.

“Seemed like you were already stripping anyway, Kagome!”

He grinned and shook his head, setting her clothes beside the sink with her coat, he smiled and wandered over to where he was preparing food earlier, grabbing another four slices of bread and getting the butter back out of the fridge.

“Was making sandwiches. You hungry?”

She only nodded, blinking at him as she sighed heavily “ Uh, Have you got a place I can change into something that isn’t.. wet?”

He looked her over and shook his head again, placing the knife he was using down, and swiftly taking her hand up, and guiding her back into the main entrance hall, and up a flight of stairs that made up the entrance. He passed a few closed doors, before walking into a room at the far end of the corridor, letting go of her hand, reluctantly, her skin was so soft. Only to go towards a closet, and pull out three towels, and a dressing gown, smiling as he walked to another door in the room, opening it, and showing her in.

“I’m guessing you’d like a shower, don’t want you to catch a cold, though, if it would mean you couldn’t leave, it’d be.. Uh…”

He stopped then, just turning away and closing the door to hang up the dressing gown on a hook on the back of the door, and setting a towel on the floor by a huge shower cubicle, the others on a rail in the corner. She noticed the blush on his cheeks first, and averting her gaze she looked around the room, it was almost as big as the bedroom they had just walked through. A huge bath tub in the other corner took up one whole side of the wall, and all was white, with hints of blue dotted here and there. Placing a hand on one of the towels he had provided, she marvelled at it’s texture, soft to the touch, picking it up, she brushed it across her cheek lightly, not realising that Kagome was watching her with utmost attention.

“Uh… There’s.. the on/off switch just there, and the other dial is for the temperature, I’ll uh… Leave you, to it.”

The two of them turned to face each other then, their eyes locked for a second, before he broke away, turning to the door and pulling down on the handle “I’ll be in the Kitchen, Making us a lil something to eat?”

She nodded again, and once more their gazes met. This time they both turned away. Both as red as the other. He left, closing the door behind him, and falling back against the door once he was on the other side, oblivious of her collapse against the other side of the door. Both of their hearts were racing, the only reason for one not to notice the others thumping, was their own heart, beating hard in their chest. They sighed in unison, thoughts of the other running through their minds, How on earth could he be so enthralled with her? She just turned up on his doorstep, and there was this attraction. She too was feeling a hint of confusion at the fact that this man HAD let her in, no questions. She only knew his name, and she was head over heels, he was so sweet.

Shaking his head quickly, he stared down to his feet, leaning up off the door, and heading back downstairs, as Eikoe removed the rest of her sodden clothes, stepping into the cubicle and turning the shower on.
