This poem was written for my big mom who passed away a short time ago I loved her very much but she was very sick, she couldn't even leave her bed , so now she's in a better place , I know this because she was the sweetest person I know and she always expected the best outta people like there was no other option to be chosen and I can't imagine her anywhere else

So this is for you big mom, my own special way of remembering you .

The Passing
By ali

She went while she was sleeping
Her breathing now ever ceased
And now amidst our weeping
Her soul flies into the east

She went while she was sleeping
Such a peaceful way to pass
With death like shadow creeping
To her eternal rest at last

She went while she was sleeping
To meet her loved ones lost
But only through her earthly leaving
Could she pay the final cost

She went while she was sleeping
And we miss her more each day
And though she's left us grieving
Forever in our hearts she'll stay
