Goodbye From Me

My heart’s grown cold tonight,

Know I’ll never feel your love again,

Know I’d miss you all of my life,

So that’s why I’m saying two goodbyes,

So you kiss me one last time,

And I’ll let you tell me, you’ll see me soon,

But I know that this is the end,

Cause I just won’t be, when you come home.

You smile your sad sweet smile,

And I can’t stop these tears flowing on,

You take my hand in yours,

You kiss it softly now, say goodbye,

You hold me close to you,

I take you in for one final time,

And this is goodbye forever,

I won’t now see your face again.

I’m sitting here on my own,

Watching as the sun sets in the sky,

A single tear falls from my eye,

As I remember the good times we shared,

But it’s all over now,

And nothing will ever be the same,

So as I take the knife from my coat,

I feel nothing except the sore loss of you.

And my blood runs dry tonight,

All I can see is your face on my mind,

You’ve been haunting me for days,

Now is the time for our last goodbye,

I whisper your name in the air,

And hope you hear my final words,

I loved you with all of my heart,

But this is my end, goodbye hon’, goodbye life.

A/N: I don’t know what to say about this...except…it DOESN’T rhyme! (Go me!)  I’m not sure it tells the whole story though, perhaps still needs work. *shuts up now*. Please Review.
