To A Lost Friend

To you my lost friend
I bade the sweetest goodbye
Even though I'm hoping
And still wishing that you be at my side.

Remembering the days we had
When joy and laughter filled our lips
But Alas! It's all over
And I must say farewell.

It is just truly so unfair!
To see you leave and go
For the time we had was too little
And I'm still hoping you would stay.

There were times when we didn't go along
Times when we argued
But then, I really am sorry
That's what i wanna say before so long.

O my dear friend...
You are a part of my entire life
Suddenly, it changes--never to be the same again
But your mem'ries shall stay sweet in my heart.

Thank you for your wonderful life
For once, you served as a light
In this world tthat's full of fright
Be happy, for your works' done a great job.

...I must be going now
Tears are already startling in my eyes--
But I promise you this my dear friend
We shall see each other again
But it's goodbye for now
My dear old friend...
