Diamonds

Where do I start disjointed heart?
You can't forever deny you're still hurt
Behind your smile are your unaswered questions
You can only fool yourself.

I still remember those perfect days
They are still so beautiful
But now, I'm under dark rain clouds
Is there a place for me to hide?

How did you ever manage to hurt me?
I truested you more than anyone else!
You promised, didn't you?
But it's over now...

You treated me like a diamond before
But you broke me up into pieces
I don't know if I can ever pull myself back together
Or am I just waiting for you to do that?

Tell me, are you just gonna leave me
Like you have done a lot of times before?
I feel numb and as cold as ice
Are you too weak to even face me?

Where do I start disjointed heart?
Behind your smile are your unanswered questions
You can only fool yourself.
