We’re Outsiders

Dreaming of a better life than this

Words don’t come easily to us

We’ve been knocked down so many times

We can no longer tell

What’s truth and what is lies

CHORUS

We’re Outsiders

Fighting against the world

Not on any glamour list

And not dressed in diamond and pearl

You look down at us

As if we mean nothing

But without Outsiders

How could you feel

So good about yourself?

So, keep your head high

So, keep living your lie

So, we may not be very pretty

But at least we have our soul

CHORUS

We’re Outsiders

Not in anyone’s pigeonhole

Trying to keep our head above

The tide that you people throw

So the next time you think of the Outsiders

Think how different it would be

If cutting was the only way to make yourself happy.

CHORUS x2

We’re Outsiders,

Keeping our head above…
