Riddle of Man I am the idea, I am the invention,
I follow no rule, I hold no convention.
I am the seed of burning ambition,
I am the mind's enchanting magician.

I am what is not, I am what might be,
I am to see what others don't see.
I am to visit unreachable places,
I am escape from the regular faces.

I am madness and bedlam and lack of the real
The nine godly sisters they can me unseal.
I am dream, I am lie, I am fabulous fiction,
I don't obey any earthly restriction.

Can you uncover, can you it see,
can you unravel what I might be?
