Snowflakes

Ice cotton, crystal,
Feather-bed down:
Millions of snowflakes
Float to the ground.

A fancy white collar
Made out of lace
Falls in soft ripples
Around Nature’s face.

Plump sugar fairies
Dancing in place,
Shimmering diamonds,
Epitome of grace.
