I am a Sinner
I am a sinner
This is something that is so true
That I'd give anything to hide it away
I am a sinner
I am ugly and wretched
It's a fatal flaw that I cannot control, but it controls me instead
I am a sinner
I have lost all hope
That is until Jesus my Savior comes to save my pitiful state
He knew I had lost the fight
So he climbed upon a cross
And laid down his life
He took my bullet
He took my pain
He took all my grief, suffering, and shame
I am unworthy of such love
Yet still he took my fall
So that I could feel the freedom of his grace
I am a sinner
Except I'm now forgiven
Jesus gladly took away my tears and frets
I am a sinner
I will fall
And Jesus will be stand there every time to take my hand
I am a sinner
But for now the weight is gone
So I'll dance in his presence and just breathe
Because now I'm finally free
