The sunrays shone thru the windows signaling a brand new day. Ella opened
her eyes, sat up and stretched. She let her down comforter fall off her
and onto the floor. She heard a soft giggle coming from somewhere in her
room. Ella looked around to see if she could see anyone. She had a pretty
good idea about who it was. Having six other brothers and sisters, she
knew who would come into her room with out twins.
"Sydney, Sarah." Said Ella groggily.
But all the reply that came were giggles coming from under her bed. Ella
stretched again, pushed the covers off of her, and crawled to the end of
her bed. She bent over the edge just so her eyes could see her sisters.
She saw her identical, three year old sisters looking up at her, smiling.
If only smiling was so easy for me. They are only three, what problems do
they have to worry about? She thought. She smiled back; she didn't want
them to think that their big sister never smiled, because she did.
"You guys get out from under my bed, or I'm gonna tickle you!"
Two sharp giggles met that and Ella had to flip up quickly as her little
sisters shot out from under the bed like cannon balls. She laughed as they
streamed out of the door, and followed them over to close it.
"They make me laugh...sometimes" she said to herself. Ella went over
to her closet, opening it to look over her meager outfit collection. She
scanned the many outfits arranged by colors. She took a look in here
mirror which was right next to her closet, and tried to imagine what she
would look better in on that particular day. She saw a skirt that was
stripped horizontally pink and dark pick and pulled it off the hanger. She
found a light pick tank top and shimmied into it.
"If only I were pretty, that would make all the difference in the
world." She said to her fully dressed self. Ella opened her bedroom door
and walked down the long staircase to the bottom level. She smelled the
waffles in the air and followed it to the kitchen. As she walked into the
kitchen the smile slowly faded as she saw all 6 of her siblings drenched in
syrup and bits of waffle, as well as much of the table. Sydney was balling
a waffle up to throw it at her older brother, John, who had the syrup
bottle in hand ready to squirt it at anyone that came near. She groaned
inwardly and said,
"Alright, I don't care who started it! Sydney, Sarah, go out with John
and spray that stuff off with the hose, George, Armani, Camry go up stairs
and wash up. NOW!!!!" She finished up with a scream as her siblings rushed
off to avoid her wrath. After looking around Ella found a very sticky note
in her mothers handwriting
"Out for day, please take care of kids, love you!". Ella glared at the
note and went upstairs to change into some grubby jeans and a t-shirt full
of holes so she could clean up the mess. When she came downstairs, Robbie,
her erstwhile jerk of a boyfriend was in her kitchen working on finishing
up the remaining waffles.
"Hey baby," Robbie said slyly. "You want some?" Ella walked over to
him and gave him a confused sort of look. "What are you doing here this
early in the morning?"
"Early?! It is noon. I think that month at the boarding school has
done something to your brain." Said Robbie as he was rubbing Ella's
already messed up hair. Ella looked at the table and saw the mess that her
fowl siblings had made, and walked over to it.
"Great, I wake up and right away I have to clean, great." Said Ella
sighing.
"Who said you had to do it. Let them do it. Your here on break
before you go back to that prison" He said while rubbing up against her and
kissing her cheek. She sighed
"They are too young, they think clean up means sit around and make
more mess" Robbie chuckled into her hair
"Just leave em and say you had an emergency, which you do now!" He
said and started rubbing her back and kissing her neck. She groaned and
pushed him off.
"You musta really missed me if your this eager Robbie, look I'll come
see you later but right now I gotta clean" Robbie pulled away and pouted.
"Oh no!" Ella laughed, "Don't pull that now"
He lunged forward at her and started to nibble at her ear.
" Oh my gosh you are so horny" Ella giggled.
Robbie laughed "Yeah I know....please leave cleaning till later?"
Ella leaned forward and kissed him, then pulled back and said "Uck,
you taste like recycled waffles. I'll come see you later I promise!" She
pushed Robbie towards the door while he was still puzzling out the waffle
comment, and waved goodbye as he started to walk home, confused. She
laughed to herself as she dug out the cleaner.
Two hours later Ella got out of the shower and went to her room to change.
She put on the same skirt and shirt as before, this time tying her hair up
with a ribbon. Her siblings had all gone off to different playmates houses
"Its a good thing they have so many friends, the little buggers" she
thought. She left the house and locked the door behind her, and started
walking towards Robbie's house. As she got there she noticed that there
were no cars in the drive way.
"YES!" She thought to herself triumphantly "Finally my luck is holding
out". She went up to the door and used the house key Robbie had given
her. As she walked in she noticed strange sounds echoing from Robbie's
room. She recognized those sounds......
She walked up the stairs and pushed open the door to Robbie's room. And what she saw..........
She stood in the doorway, looking at her best, BEST friend straddling and making out with Robbie. Her boyfriend. Her boyfriend and her best MALE friend.
"Oh dear God. OH DEAR GOD. I HATE YOU FUCKING ASSHOLES YOU STUPID GAY
PERVERTED FUCKING SHITHOLES!!!!!" She screamed and stormed down the stairs
and out of the house, breaking into a run as she slammed the door behind
her. Ella couldn't stop crying.
"Now those are two people that I have to put on my 'To kill'
list."said Ella between sobs. She heard the door slam behind her and
frantic running behind her.
"Ella! Wait. Let me explain!" Said Robbie
Ella couldn't stop crying.
"Ella! Wait. Let me explain!" Yelled Robbie as Ella turned and ran
away.
Ella was halfway home before she realized she was out of breath. She
walked the rest of the way home. She walked up her driveway and saw her
dad getting her stuff out of the van.
"Dad, you might as well put my stuff back.I want to ." She
stormed into the house and ran into her bedroom. She packed the few things
that she brought into the house for the night and threw them into the trunk
of the car. She opened up the passenger car door and got in. She looked
at her watch and saw that it was almost six o' clock. She leaned over the
drivers seat and honked the horn. She heard scrambling from her kitchen,
which was right by the garage. She saw Sarah and Sydney look through the
screen door, with their sad little faces. They didn't know what was going
on most of the time, but they knew that one of their siblings wasn't going
to be home for a while. Her dad ran out of the house and quickly got
behind the wheel of the car.
"Why are you in such a hurry?" Asked her dad out of breath.
"Please, can we just drive the two hours in silence?"
"Wait! Ella, we don't want you to go!" Yelled the most angelic
voice ever, it belonged to her little sister Camry. She is seven and still
she knows how to get her own way. She pushed open the door, ran into the
garage and opened the car door. She threw herself onto Ella and hugged
her.
"Would you like to come with us?" Ella asked. "I can sit in the
back with you."
Camry kept on hugging. Ella could here little sobs escaping through the
shirt that she was pushing her face into.
"Do you want too?"
Camry couldn't talk; she just nodded her head, opened the back door and
hopped in. Ella climbed over the armrest of the 2004 dodge Durango, and
hopped into the back seat with her sister.
