What's a fan-girl to do?
Oh Stalker of Mine
Confusion
Kit sleep through the next three days. By the time she'd woken up,
besides some minor bruising she was fine. In fact she jumped out of bed
mind buzzing with questions. The healer nearly fainted from surprise.
Now she was looking around for her beloved. Or at least what was now
him. Her jaw was clamped down making her face seem sad.
"Kitty-chan?" Tearo's voice surprised her. She couldn't tell where it'd
come from.
She looked around curiously until she spotted a familiar pair of eyes
staring down at her. Sliding down he landed next to her with a soft thud.
He instinctively put a hand on her cheek. "Are you okay?"
She nodded studying his face. His eyes seemed deeper than before and an
occasional flicker of emotions made her wonder what he was pondering. 'He
looks mostly the same.'
Suddenly his fingers trailed to her lips. "You want to ask me questions
don't you?" He sighed. "Whom I am more like? Do I hold Joe's perversion or
Tearim's cuteness? I can't tell you, I don't know. But there is one thing I
DO know." His hand moved to the back of her head as he planted a soft kiss
on her lips. "I love you. No matter what." Her hand reached out and snaked
across his waist leaning into his chest. He stroked her long orange locks
softly. "We'll get through this, Kitty-chan."
She clung to him wishing she could speak to him. His fingers stroked
her hair softly. 'Why do we have to deal with all this?'
Whispers came from behind them. "Crikey! Today we're here ta study to
mating habits of the adult lovebird."
"Why do you have an accent?"
"Because I want to have one."
"Why is Uncle Tear-Rio petting Aunt Kit?"
"DARN! They're not kissing!"
"Will we be like that when we grow up, Kat?"
Kit rolled her eyes and raised an eyebrow at Tearo. He smirked
childishly. "Seems we have an audience."
"Uh-oh." Pie squeaked. He tried to scamper away to no avail as Tearo
grabbed him and his siblings by their collars.
The demon grinned sheepishly. "You guys shouldn't spy on adults."
Kat cut in. "So when is the wedding?"
Tearo looked at Kit surprised. "Yeah when is it?"
"Where is she?" Key growled at Tearim as they took their spot in the
front of the city hall.
Tearo shrugged. "Wedding jitters? Don't worry she'll come. It's our
wedding." He wore a simple black bodysuit and a red cloth tied around his
waist. It slung over one should and a red crystal held it together at his
right hip. A long blood-red rope held his hair in a long horsetail.
Angel suddenly appeared in the doorway of the building. He wore the
traditional dress of the family of the couple. A plain red kimono with the
fire emblem on the back crackling at the fire kanji. "She's coming, dudes."
Pie fidgeted with his kimono as his brothers stood proudly. Kat was
anxiously picking at her orange sundress. She smiled and whispered
excitedly. "Finally!"
The door opened and the sunlight contrasted the light of the dozens of
candles that bordered the walls of the city hall. A figure slowly entered,
head held high. Tearo smiled at Kit reassuringly. She wore a beautiful
white dress (see comic) that matched her perfectly. She walked up to him
without hesitating and without even the faintest glimmer of fear. He
recited his part to Gig, the family head. "I Tearo, otherwise known as Joe
the demon and Tearim the demon, take Rekita as my wife. I swear this in the
name of the god of fire."
"Rekita, Kitsune of the Tribe of the Eternal Flame, do you take Tearo
to be your husband?" Gig asked Kit.
She nodded slowly smiling slightly. Tearo lead her to the right to a
small bowl of salt water. She placed her hand in the water without wincing
and he followed suite, covering her hand with his own. Suddenly the water
turned to fire and the gods blessed them with the bonds of marriage."
