There is a little bundle of, uh, joy;
He lives in my house.
Everyone loves, uh, adores him;
He is very popular.
People scream over this little bundle of, uh, joy;
He lives in my house.
Deceit, and floods of insidious, uh, thoughts;
They surround him.
All the pain and, uh, tears;
How will he learn?
What will this little bundle of, uh, joy learn?
With all this fighting.
Will he think this is, uh, normal?
That this is right?
What is it about this little bundle of, uh, joy
That has us so enthralled?
Enough to make us lie to, uh, each other;
Enough to make us hate.
His golden curls and toothy, uh, smile;
His ruddy cheeks and tiny fingers.
Are enough to make anyone, uh, happy;
Instead everyone wants to hoard him.
I wish the fighting would, uh, stop;
I don't want him to grow up in pain.
I don't want him to grow up in hate.
