Hm.. I dunno where this came from I've been on the net for 10 hours straight and my eyes hurt from the strain of the screen rays and sleep depravation.. ENJOY!!Ü

The Letter

I stood outside your front door, wet from the rain, a letter securely clutched in my hand. I hesitate before knocking.

"Hahaha!" I hear you laughing, with another person.. how I wish I was that person.. so close to you..

I almost knock on the wood but something holds me back, the thought that when you open the door.. you'll have that person standing behind you with a welcoming smile, the thought that when you open that door you'll be embarrassed to even just look at me, so many thoughts that make me restrain myself.

I decide just to leave the letter, slip it into the letter slot.. hope that the dog won't shred it pieces before you get to read it, hoping that no one steps on it and think of it as junk mail. I turn around and leave but I hear the door slowly open and the light from inside you house pours out into the streets. I spin around once more and I see your deep steel gray eyes, I get lost in them.. like I always do.. then I see the person whom you were with, a big cheery smile on their face. I start running away, although you call after me. "Just read the letter.." I whisper under my breath.. tears streaming down and blending with the raindrops.

You shout my name into the night again but I ignore it, just keep running.. running away from my feelings.. running away from you..

I run into a dark alley, just one lonely street lamp to light it and there I collapse and cry.. I cry out all my pain. I don't feel the rain hitting me anymore, but a hand on my shoulder and whip my head around to see you looking down on me with a smile. Your deep and beautiful grey eyes digging into my red and swollen brown ones.

"Stop crying," you say, bending down and using your thumb to wipe away my tears

"What for?? The one thing I care about is gone.. and he doesn't even know.." I turn my attention back to the pavement as you stand

"I think he does" I turn around again and see you hold the letter very lovingly [1]

I give you a speechless stare, you extend your free hand and help me up, and in one of the very seldom moments I smile a real smile. "What about that girl earlier??"

"Her!?? She was just my cousin! Haha!" you laugh your oh so charming laugh that makes me melt "You thought--??"

I nod "Well, what would YOU have thought!??" I smile up at you letting out a choked laugh

"I guess you right.." you hug me and I rest my head on your chest with a contented sigh "C'mon, let's get you dried off" you say putting your arm around me and escort me to your house. I lean on your shoulder, eyes closed enjoying every moment I spend with you.

"Oh, and by the way.." you turn your head to face me

"Mm..??" I mumbled my eyes still closed

"I love you" you whisper in my ear and my eyes shot open. I face you with a happy yet surprised look. I push you away playfully and you do the same.

We stop playing and I rest my head on your shoulder again.

"I love you too" I whisper to you. You hold me closer to your body and stop walking. You turn to face me and caress my cheek with your hand gently and lovingly, leaning closer and closer until our lips meet in a sweet kiss.
