Daydreams

As I think these tainted thoughts,
And dream these languid dreams,
These lazy, drifting fantasies,
Are broken by sunbeams.

And as I wander through the clouds,
And brave the mountain tops,
I know the rain won't fall on me,
I'll dance until I drop.

I feel as light as dainty air,
As free as endless sky,
I'll never face reality,
You'll never ask me why.
