She takes a photograph in her hand and then she strokes the face of the man before her. Smaller than real life, his face grins back warmly and invitingly. The girl smiles back although the man's look was not intended for her. She brushes a lock of dark hair back from her forehead, and sighs. Then she puts the photograph down. Lighting a cigarette, she picks up her romance novel and then tries to forget the man in the picture. She drops the book and cries.
