Burning

Your slow march to the sea
Mystifies me
As you march to deaths sweet tune
I know I'll be there soon
Your enticing eyes
Wild with fever
Dance with flames
And there are those
That you may scare
But to me you are
So wild with flames
That I burn
Under your spell
And so you continue in your ways
And continue to bring
Death
But your malice
Continues
To bind me
You spook some
But in the end
They are always
Drawn to you
In the end
My evil friend
And you continue
To live
Only to destroy
Yet, I hate you
And how could I not?
For what you are
And forever
We will remain
They way
We were meant
To be
