By saving you I lost my life,

.,;:"":;,.

By helping you I condemned my soul,

.,;:"":;,.

By loving you I broke my heart,

.,;:"":;,.

My nightmare now begins.

.,;:"":;,.

You were hanging on the brink of despair,

Just waiting for someone to care,

I saved you when I rushed to your side,

But instead of us both, it was I who died.

.,;:"":;,.

Then you were troubled by another affair,

That led down to Hell by a golden stair,

I did all I could, from beneath my knoll,

And though I helped you again, I damned my soul.

.,;:"":;,.

Without a soul, and without a life,

I was grief ridden and completely un-rife,

At least I knew I still had a heart,

But even my love you tore apart.

.,;:"":;,.

So to Hell with anger,

To Hell with pain,

I shall no longer take the blame.

You ruined my existence,

Now and the past,

So now your torment shall be slow and vast.

.,;:"":;,.
