Chapter Three

What about me?

I kept on asking myself that question the next night, trying to write the essay up that was due the next day, Thursday, while sitting in my desk chair typing it up on my laptop.

What about me?

Damn, why is this assignment so hard? I mean, I'm not a very complex person. OK, hmm....

'On a cold, drizzy night, an infant with the name Cecilia came out of her mothers womb..... '

Nah, okay that sounds pretty nasty, ew. I highlighted the text then pressed the 'Backspace' button. Ok, I can do this. I looked at my digital clock next to my laptop that read 9:56 pm. Damn.

I began typing again. 'I've been asking myself this question over and over again for the past day. "What about me?" WHAT about me? I'm not an overly interesting person. I was born in December of '85, big deal. My mother left my father and I one year later so she can go live with her rich and snotty husband, once again not interesting.'

I sighed and stared at my computer screen with distaste. I really hated talking about my mother and what she did to me and my father. I havent even talked to her for the past 6 years, and had no interest to. If only I could -

*Bang* Suddenly the door to my room slammed open revealing Robin and some guy who was very blond making out. Robin was biting this guy's neck and was about to unbutton his shirt when she happened to look over and see myself sitting frozen in my computer chair.

Robin yelped. "Cecilia! Heyyyyy!" She looked awkwardly from me to her new little boytoy. "Umm... This is Frankie." She put her hand on his arm.

I stared at him silently for a few seconds. "....Hi."

Frankie barely acknowledged me. "Hi." He went back to groping Robin.

Robin pushed him away slowly. "Frankie, we should probably continue this another night."

Frankie, obviously upset, moaned loudly. "C'mon, Robby Baby doll." He ran his hand through his hair, frusterated.

I raised my eyebrows, Ok, enough of this.

I tucked my bangs behind my ears. "You know what guys, I was just going to get some ice cream anyways. You might as well just stay here." I smiled.

Robin looked at me guiltily. "Are you sure? I mean, we share this room, I can't run you out of it. Frankie, go home. I don't even know why I brought him here," she put a hand on his arm, "cya tomorrow Frankie."

I looked at his disappointed face, and I felt so bad for this pathetic guy, I started to laugh. I stood up, "Don't bother, you two might as well stay because I'm leaving anyways," and I went over to my bed to snatch up my purse and jacket, "I'll see you later, Robby."

Robin looked at me uneasily. "You're sure?"

I smiled brightly, uh-huh.... "Yup. Don't even worry about it. " I blew her a kiss and started out of my dorm room. I started to pace quickly, wanting to go outside and get some fresh air.

"Hey, Cecilia," A voice suddenly came from behind me.

"Adam," I smiled, "what's up?"

"Nothing really, just hanging around, ya know?" He shrugged his big shoulders. Adam was very popular on campus, being a star football player, and because of his lovable personality. He was about 6'2 with large shoulders and legs.

I yawned. "Yup, I definitely do. I'm just going to get some ice cream though, but I'll see you around."

Adam grinned. "I hope so."

~I'm sorry this is such a freaking sucky chapter, I promise, more stuff next chapter. I'll make it extra long if u ask me! I just wanted to get this out so I can let you guys know that im still writing it. A/N: Hey everyone! AH! I am SOOOO sorry for the wait for a new chapter, im trying to juggle my time between work, friends, and summer school (damn math) good news though, its going to be over in one more week. I'm REALLY trying to make the updates faster though!. And just for future preference, if any of you guys are wondering, I almost always update at night.
