You left me on a Sunday,
I tried hard not to cry.
But your presence will always linger
In my minds eye.

We've had some great times together-
Sharing laughs, hugs and kisses,
Your smart remarks and witty jokes
Are some things your friend misses.

I've never known anyone like you,
You truly are unique,
Everyone will miss you,
Especially me.

Why do you have to go?
Why do you leave me here?
Can't you just forget the others,
Stay close to me near?

No wait.
They need you.
Of course I do, too,
But it's your job- to help others,
So go and do what you need to.
